After inspecting the interior and exterior conditions of the vehicle, the interior of the vehicle is completely dismantled by an expert disassembly team. The parts removed are coded, safely stored and protected to be assembled in the final stages. The fuel tank is removed and protected.
The next step is to take measurements of the floor, roof, doors and firewall in order to fabricate the patterns needed for the armoring.
The opaque armor is then installed in the vehicle:
Note: Ballistic steel, special steel and other ballistic materials are imported from SSAB, Industeel Creusot, Amluk or equivalent with test certificate.
All original glasses are replaced by “AGP” laminated bullet proof glazing glass or equivalent OEM supplier. Glass ranges from Level II -12mm (.38 Sauper, 9mm, .357 Mag, .44 Mag) to Level VlI - 80mm API (M60/M14/M1) Protection.
All windows apertures are fitted with armor overlaps allowing them to appear like original equipment.
All of the usual aesthetical details such as sun protection, antiglare fringe, fading, and defroster are faithfully reproduced to ensure inconspicuous presence of armor.
Driver window remain operable to a certain limit to allow documents pass.
Glass can be produced in a variety of colorations or reflection degree upon the client’s request.
AGP is OEM supplier for BMW, Mercedes, Audi and others.
AGP had been certified for all Levels of Protection by H.P. White Laboratories, Impact Physics Laboratory, Staatliches Beschussamt Mellrichstadt, and other accredited testing facilities. AGP has recently certified to NATO - STANAG Levels I & II. AGP is also an approved Contractor (Cage Code 08VZ1) of the U.S. Armed Forces as well as other Military Agencies around the world.
Expert engineers headed by a Georgia Tech automotive Engineer restore all interior parts to their original place with minor adjustments combining the complete ballistic protection with the aesthetic appearance in order to conserve the luxury and the beauty of the vehicle.
Note: All critical points in the vehicle such as the braking systems, pillars, posts, hinges, chassis points and the suspension are upgraded and reinforced so they can withstand the added weight.
The expert technical staff inspects all the finishing details and maintains a test drive to ensure that the vehicle meets all the interior and exterior conditions.
The Run Flat Tires System allows safe riding even when one to all of the tires are completely deflated for some kilometers with satisfactory constant speed which allows the driver to maintain control of the vehicle and facilitate an escape from an attack until the tires will be changed at a safe location
